What is a comprehensive eye exam?
- Tests of visual acuity, visual field, how well your eyes work together, and much more
- Refractive error testing and correction (nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism)
- Dilation of the pupil and ophthalmoscopy to examine the optic nerve, retina, and blood vessels
- Optimized glasses prescriptions for improved eye comfort and vision
- Microscopic evaluation of the external eye structures, eyelids, cornea, and lens (cataract)
- Additional testing, when medically necessary
